Jill Sturm

Jill Sturm has a diverse range of work experience spanning over two decades. Jill is currently the Executive Director at Tax-Aid, where they lead the organization in providing expert tax preparation services to low-income families in the Bay Area. Prior to this, Jill served as the Financial Services Director at EARN, where they oversaw programs that helped low-wage clients achieve important financial goals. Jill also developed and managed partnerships with other nonprofits, government agencies, and financial institutions.

Before their time at EARN, Jill held the position of Director of Family and Volunteer Services at Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco. In this role, they managed the family selection process and conducted homeowner education programs. Jill was also responsible for coordinating the escrow and move-in process for homeowners.

Prior to their work at Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco, Jill worked as the Community Building Coordinator at Peninsula Habitat for Humanity. Here, they pioneered strategies that empowered families to sustain communities in Homeowners' Associations over the long term. Additionally, they coordinated a financial education program and managed the family selection process, working closely with city housing staff and conducting outreach.

Earlier in their career, Jill served as the Director of Marketing Services at The Brachman Group, Inc. Jill was responsible for managing marketing functions for a team of real estate sales agents, including integrating advertising campaigns and analyzing revenue and expenses.

Throughout their career, Jill has consistently demonstrated strong leadership abilities and a commitment to serving low-income communities and individuals.

Jill Sturm holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles. In addition, they have obtained certifications including a California Real Estate License from the Department of Real Estate and a Yoga Teacher Training certificate from Yoga Alliance.
