Mike Newman

Mike Newman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality assurance, currently serving as the Director of Software QA at Green Dot Corporation since February 2022. Prior to this role, Mike Newman held various positions at Santa Barbara Tax Products Group from May 2008, including Senior Quality Assurance Manager and Quality Assurance Lead, where leadership of a QA team and the maintenance of industry standards in consumer tax products were key responsibilities. Mike Newman’s expertise encompasses evaluating and testing software programs to ensure compliance with requirements and guidelines, as well as creating quality standards and test procedures to enhance software quality. Mike Newman holds an Associate's degree in Business Administration and Management from Cuyamaca College, earned between 2004 and 2006.
