Chuck Benham

Chuck Benham has extensive work experience in software application development and management roles. Chuck is currently working at Tax Technologies, Inc. as a Software Application Development Senior Manager, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Software Application Development Manager at the same company from March 2013.

Before joining Tax Technologies, Inc., Chuck worked at American Express as a Lead Software Engineer from July 2011 to March 2013. During their time there, they took on lead development responsibilities for the Bluebird project, a partnership between Wal-Mart and American Express.

Earlier in their career, Chuck worked at ByDesign Technologies as a .NET/Database Developer from August 2010 to July 2011. Chuck was selected to work on a team dedicated to resolving and reducing issues in the company's core payment processing software. Chuck was also assigned as the dedicated developer resource for one of the company's largest clients.

Chuck also held the role of Senior Software Engineer/VP Operations at Red Moon Solutions from August 2009 to August 2010. In this position, they managed a team responsible for the development, implementation, and support of a core Fixed Asset Management product. Chuck also worked on enhancing and maintaining integration code between the fixed asset management product and SAP Business One accounting system.

Prior to their time at Red Moon Solutions, Chuck worked again at Tax Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2004 to June 2009. Here, they played a key role in the design and development of mission-critical features for the company's corporate tax product. Chuck also resolved numerous client-critical issues within tight deadlines.

Chuck's earlier experience includes a role as an Application Developer (Experienced Senior) at Arthur Andersen/Vertex Inc. from October 1997 to 2004. During this time, they served as the technical lead for the Exemption Certificate Manager project and was responsible for the development of ASP and C++ COM components.

Chuck began their career at Sarasota Memorial Hospital as a Lead Programmer/Analyst from March 1992 to October 1997. Chuck was primarily responsible for project prioritization and analysis for the Admissions, Discharges, and Transfers (ADT) system. Chuck also developed and maintained Visual Basic client/server applications and served as the Chairman of the Employee Enhancement Program committee.

Chuck Benham attended State College of Florida from 1989 to 1991, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S) degree in Computer Science. Following this, they pursued further education at Saint Leo University from 1992 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Healthcare Administration.
