Nicola Hobeiche

Nicola Hobeiche has extensive work experience in various leadership and legal roles. Nicola is currently a Board Member at Mommies In Need starting in 2022. Prior to that, they served as the VP of Legal Affairs at TaxAct starting in 2021. In 2020, they became a Board Member at Texas General Counsel Forum and also worked as Co-General Counsel and Chief Privacy Officer at Wallabing Inc. From 2019 to 2022, they served as a Board Member at THE DALLAS SUMMIT. Nicola Hobeiche also held the position of Chair of the Board of Directors at Community Partners of Dallas from 2019 to 2020. Nicola was the Head of Legal at KidKraft, Inc from 2019 to 2020. Before that, they had a long tenure at ORIX USA, where they held the positions of Managing Director, Assistant General Counsel, and Director of Litigation and Corporate Services from 2006 to 2019. Nicola was a Member of the Board at ORIX Foundation from 2009 to 2019. Additionally, they were a participant in the Dallas Regional Chamber's Leadership Dallas Class of 2016 from 2015 to 2016.

Nicola Hobeiche completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology from SMU. Nicola then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Law (JD) degree from SMU as well. Additionally, Nicola has obtained certifications including Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in October 2020, and Certified Information Privacy Professional - United States (CIPP/US) from the same institution in August 2019.
