Fred Schapelhouman

Fred Schapelhouman has extensive experience in finance and consulting, with a focus on providing strategic and operational guidance to various companies. Fred co-founded FedTax in 2009, where they served as the CFO and was instrumental in developing TaxCloud, a web service for filing and paying sales tax. Prior to that, they worked at CFO Plus, Inc. as the President, offering financial consulting services. Fred also served as a CFO Consultant at Xeriton Corporation and as the Chief Financial Officer at Insightful Corporation. Additionally, they held the position of Managing Partner at Tridia Partners, LLC and Chief Financial Officer at Aris Corporation. Before starting their own company, CFO Plus, Inc., Fred Schapelhouman worked as the Vice President of Finance at Sierra On-Line, Inc.

Fred Schapelhouman received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from San Jose State University in 1978. Fred later pursued a Master of Business Administration in Finance at Golden Gate University, completing their studies in 1991.
