Christian Königsheim

Christian Königsheim has been an active member of the business world since 2011. In that year, they began their role as a Research Assistant at the Universität Hamburg. In 2016, they took on the role of Co-CEO and Founder of Taxdoo, an automated platform for financial compliance in e-commerce. At Taxdoo, they have been responsible for making it easy for e-commerce businesses and accountants to handle VAT, manage financial accounting and ensure the fulfilment of compliance requirements. The platform has powered end-to-end automation for over 1,000 customers and received the TAXCELLENCE Award 2020 for best tax technology solution.

Christian Königsheim began their educational journey in 2006 at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Mönchen, where they obtained a Diplom (MSc equiv.) in Economics by 2011. During this time, they also completed internships alongside their studies. In 2008, they studied Chinese Language at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and in 2011 they obtained their PhD in Behavioral Economics from the University of Hamburg.
