Joaquin Fernandez

Joaquin Fernandez has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Joaquin is currently the Founder & CTO of TaxDown, a digital platform for managing taxes. Prior to this, Joaquin worked at SAP as part of the EMEA Presales Lab, where they interacted with prospective customers and created personalized buying experiences. Joaquin also gained experience at IBM, where they supported presales and managed post-sales processes in the EMEA region. Joaquin played a key role at Aspera, an IBM company, as a Senior Software Engineer and a Full-stack Engineer, contributing to the development of front-end and back-end products. Joaquin began their career as a Junior Executive Intern at The San Jose Group, where they helped launch web applications and developed an online advertising campaign.

Joaquin Fernandez completed their education in various institutions, starting with the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 2007 to 2012. There, they pursued a degree in Ingeniero de Telecomunicación, specializing in the field of Comunicaciones. Following this, they enrolled at the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2013, where they studied Information Technology & Management with a focus on Computer Software Engineering.
