Bobby Kong has a diverse work experience, primarily in the field of design. Bobby started their career as a Material Trend Research Assistant at Art Center College of Design in 2008. In 2009, they worked as a Product Design Intern at Stuart Karten Design. The following year, they interned at T-Mobile as a Product Development Color Material Finish Intern, where they analyzed and developed design strategies for smartphones. Bobby then worked as an Industrial Designer at Lanard Toys for a brief period in 2011.

In 2012, Bobby held multiple roles, including being an Industrial Designer at Soulcake Creative and a Product Designer at Custom LeatherCraft. At olloclip, they worked as an Industrial Designer, focusing on photography equipment design and earning patents in photography and consumer electronics.

Bobby's design career continued to flourish, and they joined Gulfstream Aerospace in 2013 as a UX/UI Designer, contributing to the design of various on-board cabin products. Bobby played a significant role in enhancing the customer in-flight experience and worked on programs like G500, G600, and G650/650ER. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as an IT UX Designer at Gulfstream Aerospace, responsible for creating enterprise mobile applications for private jet interior design.

Bobby's most recent position is at TaxSlayer, where they started in 2019 as a UX Designer. Bobby'swork involves designing intuitive user tax experiences, including sketches, wireframes, and prototypes.

Throughout their career, Bobby has shown a talent for delivering high-quality and thoughtful design work while collaborating closely with stakeholders and incorporating feedback into their designs.

Bobby Kong attended ArtCenter College of Design from 2004 to 2011, earning a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design. In 2005, they also attended Schule für Gestaltung Basel for a brief period, focusing on Graphic Design, specifically Design and Typography. Additionally, in May 2021, they obtained a UX Certification from the Nielsen Norman Group.
