Gary Deariso has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a High School Math Teacher at the Columbia County Board of Education from 1986 to 1988. Gary then worked as an Administrative Assistant at Ponderosa Georgia Corp., where they updated computer systems and processed payroll and accounts payable. From 1990 to 2002, Gary held the position of GIS-MIS Manager at McDuffie County Board of Commissioners, responsible for information systems design, support, and training. Gary then served as IT Systems Administrator at the Chatham County Board of Assessors from 2002 to 2008, providing support for information systems and collaborating on budget preparation. Gary worked as a Substitute Teacher at the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District from 2008 to 2010, implementing lesson plans and maintaining discipline in the classroom. Gary joined TaxSlayer, LLC in 2010 as a Customer Network Support Technician, assisting customers with network problems and data conversion. Gary Deariso completed an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at Oxford College of Emory University from 1979 to 1981. Gary then pursued Mathematics and Computer Science at Emory University from 1981 to 1983 but did not obtain a degree during this time. Later, from 1984 to 1986, Deariso attended Augusta University and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.
