Douglass Cook is an accomplished banking executive with extensive experience in lending and business development. Currently serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer at Taylor Bank since August 2016, Douglass previously held the position of Chief Lending Officer at Shore Bank from November 2010 to July 2016, and served as Senior Vice President and Business Development Officer at BB&T between December 2008 and October 2010. Douglass also has a significant tenure at Mercantile Peninsula Bank, where the role of Senior Vice President and Regional Officer was fulfilled from January 1994 to December 2008. Prior military service includes the role of Sergeant in the US Army from 1987 to 1993. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Regis University, an MBA from Salisbury University's Perdue School of Business, and additional training from the Maryland Banking School and the National Commercial Lending School at Southern Methodist University.
