Founded in 1922, Taylor Electric Company is the oldest African American owned and operated construction firm in Chicago. TEC is a full service electrical contractor performing residential, commercial, industrial, and maintenance work.

Taylor Electric Company (TEC) is DBE/MBE certified with the City of Chicago, IDOT and Central Management Services (CMS).  We are licensed with the City of Chicago and fully insured (based on industry standards and statutory limits). Our bonding capacity is $2.5mil per project, $10mil aggregate.
