Penny Carr has a diverse work experience starting from 1987 to present. Penny began their career as a Patient Account Service Representative at Bloomington Lake Clinic Ltd and worked there until 1993. Penny then joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, where they held various roles such as Claims Examiner, Senior Provider Service Representative, Claims Adjuster Examiner III, and Operations Supervisor, spanning from 1993 to 2014. In 2015, they worked as a Human Resource Intern at Dakota County Technical College, where they gained experience in recruitment, onboarding, policy development, and HR documentation. Penny also worked as a Benefit Assistant at Employee Benefit Services for a short period in 2015. Since 2015, Penny has been working at Taylor Truck Line, Inc, initially as the Director of Human Resources and currently holds the position. Additionally, they are also actively involved in the Northfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Tourism, serving as a Board Member and Ambassador, representing Taylor Truck Line Inc.
Penny Carr obtained their diploma in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Northwest Schools Inc. between 1986 and 1997. Penny then pursued a diploma in Business Management with a focus on Human Resources at Dakota County Technical College from 2014 to 2016. Additionally, in May 2015, Penny obtained a Human Resources Certificate. Prior to their college education, they earned their diploma from Northfield High School between 1982 and 1986.
