Stewart Watkiss

Stewart Watkiss is a seasoned professional in cyber security and data centre management, currently serving as a Cyber Security Analyst at Taylor Wimpey plc since January 2024, where responsibilities include managing Security Operations Centre (SOC) activities and vulnerability management, alongside the rollout of Microsoft Defender and Sentinel. Prior to this, Stewart worked at Evoque from February 2019 to January 2024 as a Data Centre Manager and Cyber Security Professional, focusing on European data centre management and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC). Stewart's extensive experience at AT&T, spanning nearly two decades, involved managing multiple data centres across several regions and serving in various roles, including Managed Services Specialist and IT Security Specialist. Stewart's career began at IBM as a Networking Specialist/System Programmer. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Hull, as well as technical certifications from IBM and the Linux Professional Institute.
