Nicholas Ang

Nicholas Ang is a Venture Fellow at Insignia Ventures Academy, focusing on Edtech since March 2023, having achieved recognition for the best pitch at Demo Day. Previously, Nicholas served in business development at Taylor's Education Group, concentrating on regional expansion and innovative educational services from September 2022 to March 2024. Nicholas also held roles in M&A at SMBC Nikko Securities Inc. as an Assistant Vice President and as a Manager in Corporate Finance with Deloitte Southeast Asia, providing lead advisory for both buy-side and sell-side transactions. Early career experiences include positions at KPMG in project advisory and corporate finance, a trainee lawyer role at Tasiopoulos Lambros & Co, and various internships in investment banking and legal sectors. Nicholas holds Bachelor's Degrees in Law and Commerce (Finance) from Monash University and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Leo Cussen Centre for Law.
