João Martins

João Martins has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Most recently, they worked at tb.lx by Daimler Trucks & Buses as a Backend Engineer starting in March 2020. Prior to that, they were a Lead Developer at LetShare from January 2016 to February 2020. João also worked as a Java Developer at BNP Paribas Securities Services from June 2011 to January 2016. Before that, they worked as an Oracle Database Developer at ALERT Life Sciences Computing, S.A. from March 2008 to May 2011. In addition, they worked as a Software Developer at Instituto Pedro Nunes from October 2006 to February 2008. João also held multiple Software Developer roles at Flor de Utopia from April 2005 to July 2006 and at Santos & Marçal SA from June 2004 to September 2005.

João Martins has a strong educational background in Informatics Engineering. João obtained their 5-year BSc degree in Informatics Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Following that, they pursued further specialization and completed their MSc degree in Informatics Engineering from the same university, studying from 2007 to 2008.

In addition to their academic qualifications, João Martins has also obtained certifications in other areas. João holds a Level A1 certification for the German Language, which they acquired from the Penguin Formula Language Centre in July 2019. Furthermore, they have been certified as a ScrumMaster® by the Scrum Alliance in March 2016. These certifications demonstrate their dedication to continuous learning and professional development.
