Aleksandr Chikov

Aleksandr Chikov is an experienced machine learning engineer specializing in natural language processing and time series analysis. Currently a Middle Machine Learning Engineer at Tinkoff since August 2021, Aleksandr has developed systems for "receipt - product" matching and ML pipelines for demand forecasting, while also supervising a Junior Specialist and leading the ETNA Library Community. Prior to this role, Aleksandr was a Junior Machine Learning Engineer, leading the development of the open-source Time Series forecasting framework "ETNA." Additionally, Aleksandr has served as a Visiting Lecturer at the Higher School of Economics, where a course on "Time Series Modeling and Anomaly Detection" was developed and taught. Educational background includes a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from the Higher School of Economics.
