Vladimir Kovalenko is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the financial services industry. Currently serving as Deputy CIO and Vice President at Tinkoff since January 2022, Kovalenko previously held the position of CIO at Tinkoff Insurance from March 2016 to December 2021. Prior to this role, Kovalenko was the Head of the Software Development Department at Tinkoff from August 2008 to March 2016 and worked as a Siebel CRM Consultant at Sputnik Labs from July 2007 to August 2008. Educationally, Kovalenko graduated from Universitatea de Stat din Tiraspol between 1995 and 2000 after completing studies at School #5 Tiraspol from 1985 to 1995.
