Michelle Tobias Ortega

Michelle Tobias Ortega is an accomplished civil engineer with extensive experience in project management and controls. Currently serving as Associate Principal and Project Controls Manager at TBD Consultants since July 2016, Michelle previously held the position of Sr. Project Manager for Design & Construction at Genentech from December 2013 to June 2016. Michelle's career also includes roles as Sr. Project Controller at TBD Consultants, Project Controls Engineer at EPC Consultants, and Technical Advisor for Traffic Controls and Regulations at AAA Northern California, Nevada & Utah. Earlier experience includes working as a Transportation Engineer at Fehr & Peers and a Jr. Bridge Engineer at DMJM Harris. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from California State University-Sacramento and further education from the University of California, Berkeley.
