Kirah Sapong

Kirah Sapong is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing innovative technology solutions. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Block since January 2023, Kirah is focused on decentralized tech within the company's new business unit. Previously, Kirah contributed as a Senior Software Developer at RBC from January 2021 to January 2023, where collaboration across various teams led to the successful launch of consumer-focused banking tools. As a co-founder of Parallel, Kirah played a key role in developing a machine learning-backed platform before its acquisition in 2020. Additional contributions include UX consulting at Vexxit, and various communication roles in earlier career stages, showcasing a diverse background in both technology and communication. Kirah holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Western Governors University and a degree in Creative Communications from RRC Polytech.
