Sinan Türkmen

Sinan Türkmen is an experienced professional with a background in data science, data analytics, and project management. Sinan is currently the Head of Data Science and Decisions Lab at tbi bank since 2023. Prior to this, Sinan worked as a Data Analytics Senior Manager at Vitra Karo from 2022 to 2023, where they led various data and advanced analytics projects, managed a team, and oversaw the project portfolio and budget. Sinan also built and maintained reporting systems and dashboards using tools like Microstrategy and SAP BW.

Before joining Vitra Karo, Sinan served as a Senior Lead Data Scientist at Eczacibasi Informatics in 2021. Sinan worked as a Data Analytics Manager at Esan from 2019 to 2021, where they managed the process development and enterprise risk management processes, monitored process performance metrics, and implemented continuous improvement initiatives. Sinan also played a key role in various projects such as SAP CRM implementation and ISO27001 Information Security Management. Additionally, Sinan held the position of IT Process Development Specialist at Esan from 2014 to 2019, where they were responsible for managing process audits, budgeting, and leading corrective and preventive action management processes.

Sinan Türkmen has a strong educational background and a range of certifications. Sinan obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Data Analytics from Sabanci University in 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University from 2013 to 2015. Sinan also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering from the Turkish Air Force Academy, which they completed from 2010 to 2013.

In terms of certifications, Sinan Türkmen holds the Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in 2023. Sinan also obtained the Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org in 2021.
