Samir A. Shah has over 15 years of work experience in various roles. In 2020, they became the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of TBL Mission Critical. From 2017 to 2019, they were the Managing Partner and Founder of Shah Capital Group, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) of Trax Group, and SVP Technology of Techstars. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Chief Of Staff and VP of Product Management, Customer Service, and Marketing at BASELAYER. From 2010 to 2014, they were Accelerator at Sterling Partners, VP - Global Product Management and VP - Corporate Strategy at IO. In 2009, they were a Venture Capital Associate Intern at MK Capital and ARCH Venture Partners. From 2004 to 2009, they were a Staff Engineer, System Integration at Hitachi Global Storage Technologies.

Samir A. Shah completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign between 1995 and 1999. Samir A. then went on to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at the same university, graduating in 2001. In 2008, they earned their MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, specializing in Finance, Entrepreneurship, Strategic Management, and Accounting.
