Ashwin Badve has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Ashwin began their career at Tata Motors in 1984 and 1985 as a Trainee Engineer. Ashwin then worked at the Center for Marine Materials at Florida Atlantic University as a Graduate Research Assistant from 1986 to 1988. Following this, they joined Micro Metals, Inc. and held roles such as Metallurgist, Director of Quality, and Director of Quality and Engineering from 1988 to 1998. At Jacobs Chuck Mfg. Co., a Danaher Company, they served as the Quality Engineering Manager from 1998 to 1999 and later took on the position of Global Supplier Quality Manager and Chief Metallurgist from 1999 to 2001. Badve then moved on to Gilbarco Veeder Root, also a Danaher Company, where they served as the Director of Global Quality from 2002 to 2005. In their role, they provided staff level leadership, oversaw the ISO9001:2000 QMS for 8 plants, and resolved customer quality disputes. Additionally, they were responsible for the integration of the Danaher Business System after the acquisition. Finally, Badve joined TBM Consulting Group in 2005 and held the positions of Senior Management Consultant and Director of LeanSigma for Strategic Growth. Their main role involved working with a global client base and implementing the Design for LeanSigma Methodology to launch innovative strategic programs and products.

Ashwin Badve has a strong education background with a Master's degree in Ocean Engineering from Florida Atlantic University, which they obtained from 1986 to 1988. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from COEP Technological University from 1982 to 1986. Ashwin also has a HSSC degree from Ramnarain Ruia College from 1980 to 1982, and an SSC degree from Modern Highschool (PES), Pune from 1973 to 1980. In addition to their academic qualifications, Ashwin Badve has obtained several certifications in quality management and engineering, including Certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Quality Auditor, Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, and Certified Quality Engineer.
