Andrew Lester

Andrew Lester has worked in the accounting and finance industry since 2001. Andrew began their career as a Tax Accountant at Arthur Andersen in 2001. In 2002, they moved to Grant Thornton LLP in the same role. In 2004, they joined ORIX Capital Markets LLC as an Asset Manager, REO, where they were responsible for management and disposition of a diverse portfolio of distressed commercial real estate. In 2006, they founded Tablespoon LLC (formerly Lester + Company) and has served as President & CEO since then, leading and managing all aspects of the firm's activities. Andrew also advises restaurant companies in the areas of business strategy and growth, cloud accounting technology adoption, and business process improvement.

Andrew Lester received their BBA in Accounting and Real Estate from the Lubar College of Business between 1998 and 2002. Andrew then went on to receive their MS in Taxation from the same school in 2003. Andrew is also a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas and Wisconsin, a Chartered Global Management Accountant through the AICPA, and a Sage Intacct Implementation Specialist through Sage Intacct, Inc.
