Chad Sparks

Chad Sparks is a seasoned healthcare professional and investor with extensive experience in both clinical and executive roles. Currently serving as a Member and Investor at TCA Venture Group since April 2024, Chad also holds the position of Regional Vice President/Senior Clinical Officer at Elevance Health since November 2022. With a background as a Hospitalist at HealthCare Partners since November 2014 and former Managing Medical Director at Anthem from February 2018 to November 2022, Chad has demonstrated leadership in medical management since joining UnitedHealth Group as Medical Director from 2013 to February 2018. Chad's medical career includes serving as a Physician for the Department of Veterans Affairs from 2011 to 2013 and for the US Navy from 2004 to 2011. Academic credentials include an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management (2011-2014), an MD from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine (2000-2004), and a BS in Biology from Cornell University (1993-1997).
