Jennifer Barker

Jennifer Barker is an experienced environmental professional with a strong background in pipeline and reclamation projects. Currently serving as the Lead Environmental Advisor at TC Energy since September 2014, Jennifer leads the environmental planning, permitting, and construction of the Coastal GasLink pipeline in British Columbia. Previously held roles include Senior Environmental Advisor at TC Energy, focusing on Keystone XL and supporting environmental mitigations during pipeline construction and reclamation. Prior experience includes working as a Reclamation Ecologist at O2 Planning + Design and roles at Golder Associates, where Jennifer was the Oil Sands Reclamation Group Manager and a Reclamation Specialist, overseeing closure planning and biodiversity assessments. Jennifer holds an M.Sc. in Plant Ecology and a B.Sc. in Environmental Science, both from the University of Manitoba.
