Kevin Widenmaier

Kevin Widenmaier is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Manager of Materials & Coatings Engineering at TC Energy since March 2007. Widenmaier has held various leadership positions, including Manager of Pipeline Engineering, where responsibilities included engineering oversight for mechanical and pipeline design, and Manager of Valves for the Energy East Project, overseeing the installation of valves across a 4,600 km pipeline. Additionally, Widenmaier managed the Keystone Welding and Materials programs, focusing on quality assurance during construction. With a strong foundation in materials engineering, Widenmaier holds a Master's degree from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Saskatchewan. Prior experience at TransAlta further complements Widenmaier's engineering background.
