Sharon Tomkins

Sharon Tomkins is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in sustainability and corporate governance within the energy sector. Currently serving as Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer at TC Energy, Sharon leads the strategic development of sustainability and social impact initiatives, shaping the company's ESG policy to support a transition to a net-zero economy. Previously, at Sempra, Sharon directed all aspects of sustainability strategy, focusing on long-term stakeholder value. During a decade at SoCalGas, Sharon held various vice president roles, including Chief Environmental Officer, where efforts included pioneering corporate strategy and environmental policy while engaging key regulators. Sharon's legal career began at O'Melveny & Myers LLP, where progression from associate to partner was marked by a focus on corporate governance. Sharon holds a JD from the University of Southern California and a BA in English Language and Literature from Penn State University.
