Bikash Maity

Bikash Maity has extensive work experience in the field of chemistry. Bikash is currently serving as the Director - Chemistry at TCG Lifesciences Pvt Ltd. since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at TCGLS for several years in various roles, including Senior Principal Research Scientist, Group Lead, and Team Lead. During their tenure at TCGLS, they gained expertise in multistep synthesis, parallel synthesis, asymmetric synthesis, peptide synthesis, and solid-phase synthesis, with experience in working with overseas pharma companies. Before joining TCGLS, Bikash worked as a Scientific Manager and Associate Scientific Manager at Syngene International Limited.

Bikash Maity has a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Organic Chemistry from the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, which they obtained from 1996 to 2002. Before that, they completed their Master of Science (MSc) in Organic Chemistry from Jadavpur University between 1994 and 1996. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry from Midnapore College from 1991 to 1994. In their high school years, they attended Ghoshpur Shree Neheru High School from 1989 to 1991. No specific field of study is mentioned for their high school degree.
