Holly Hamilton, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Meteorology at the Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority since May 2021, overseeing technical, administrative, and financial management of the Department while providing leadership and vision. Prior experience includes positions as a Postdoctoral Scholar and Graduate Research Assistant at Penn State University, where research focused on tropical cyclone boundary layers and the analysis of Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission data. Additionally, Holly has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, enhancing knowledge in meteorology through teaching diverse students, as well as serving as a Weather Reporter for WIV4 News, improving daily weather forecast presentations. Holly's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Meteorology and a Master's Degree in Meteorology from Penn State University, a Bachelor's Degree in Meteorology and Atmospheric Sciences from the University of Leeds, and a Certificate in Operational Aeronautical Meteorology from the Caribbean Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology.
