Frederick Harris

Frederick Harris, MD, MS, is a neurosurgeon with extensive experience in spine surgery, currently practicing at Twin Cities Orthopedics since May 2019 and Fairview Southdale Hospital since April 2014. Prior to these roles, Frederick Harris served as a neurosurgeon at Essentia Health from July 2007 to April 2014 and completed a neurosurgery residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center from July 2001 to June 2007. Earlier in his career, Frederick Harris worked as a mechanical engineer for the United States Department of Defense from June 1991 to July 1993 and at NASA from June 1988 to August 1990. Frederick Harris holds an MD from The Ohio State University College of Medicine, an MS in Biomedical Engineering from UT Southwestern Medical Center, and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
