Fiaz Ahmad

Fiaz Ahmad has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering. Fiaz started their career at Kavtech Solutions in 2018 as an ETL Engineer, where they developed new ETLs and optimized existing ones for YLOPO, a US-based real estate digital marketing firm. Fiaz worked on data mappings, client requirements translation, and implementation processes until January 2021.

Fiaz then joined Analytics in April 2021 as a Data Engineer. Fiaz worked on data warehousing and business intelligence projects for Faysal Bank Limited and Interloop Limited. Their responsibilities included developing new ETLs, executing test cases, modeling transactional data, and translating business requirements into KPIs. Fiaz continued this role until October 2021.

In October 2021, Fiaz became a Senior Data Engineer at ShopDev, a company that owns multiple B2B e-commerce products. Their main tasks included integrating data from various channels onto cloud platforms, such as AWS RDS and Google Cloud DBs, and modeling transactional data into materialized query tables to build a semantic layer. Fiaz completed their role at ShopDev in July 2022.

Currently, Fiaz is working as a BI/Data Engineer at TCP Software, an American company that owns multiple SaaS products in the areas of workforce management and time and attendance. Fiaz is responsible for developing data integrations with various data sources, such as Zuora, Jira, and Tempo, using Python, Matillion, AWS S3, and AWS Redshift.

Overall, Fiaz Ahmad has gained significant experience in developing data integrations, ETL pipelines, and semantic layers for various organizations in the banking, manufacturing, real estate, and software industries.

Fiaz Ahmad attended Govt. High School from 2010 to 2012 and obtained a Matriculation degree in Science subjects. From 2012 to 2014, they attended Govt. Postgraduate College and completed their F.Sc degree in Pre-Engineering. Fiaz Ahmad then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from 2014 to 2018 at the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences.
