Waqas Ahmed

Waqas Ahmed has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and cloud engineering. Waqas started their career as a Web Application Developer at Skratch Digital in 2016, where they worked on web application development. Waqas then joined KCCL in 2017 as a Software Engineer, where they continued to develop software applications.

In 2019, Waqas became a Senior Software Engineer at Virtual Live Technologies, where they further advanced their skills in software engineering. Waqas then joined Gluu, Inc. in 2021 as a DevOps Engineer, where they worked on containerizing applications and developing Kubernetes resources.

In 2022, Waqas worked as a DevOps Engineer at Baeldung, where they designed, managed, and monitored cloud infrastructure and implemented server migrations. Waqas also joined Upwork in 2020 as a Modern Full Stack Engineer / DevOps, where they gained experience in full stack development and DevOps practices.

Currently, Waqas is working as a Cloud Engineer at TCP Software, starting in 2023.

Waqas Ahmed pursued their education from 2012 to 2016 at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, where they earned a degree in Computer Science with a focus on Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Waqas has obtained two additional certifications. In December 2022, they completed the "AWS Multi-Tier VPC Architecture" course through Coursera. Waqas also acquired the "Getting Started with AWS" certification from Simplilearn in the same month and year.
