Karla Dawn Meier

Karla Dawn Meier holds a robust background in marketing and communications, currently serving as Associate Vice President of Marketing, Brand, and Communications at TCS Education System since August 2015. At TCS, Karla has been instrumental in building the marketing communications team and developing strategies for several partner schools, focusing on content marketing and email marketing through Salesforce. Prior experience includes directing marketing and communications at the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Lewis College, where Karla managed brand strategies and launched a college publication, as well as roles at Catholic Theological Union, where responsibilities included creating marketing collateral and maintaining digital platforms. Karla's early career features positions in journalism, including a fellowship with the Medill National Security Journalism Initiative and education reporting with Medill News Service. An accomplished writer, Karla has produced content across various platforms and has a Master's in Journalism from Northwestern University, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Humanities from Soka University of America.
