Lawrence McGhee

Lawrence McGhee has extensive experience in financial aid and education administration. Lawrence has held various leadership roles in different organizations, including TCS Education System, where they served as the Associate Vice President of Financial Aid and previously as the Senior Director and Director of Financial Aid. In these positions, Lawrence was responsible for overseeing financial aid operations across multiple affiliates and locations, managing teams of financial aid advisors, specialists, and managers, and implementing efficient processes with a customer-service focus.

Prior to their time at TCS Education System, Lawrence worked as a School Evaluator at the Accrediting Council For Independent Colleges and Schools. Lawrence also served as the President of Sanford Brown College, Tinley Park, IL, where they successfully grew the student population and exceeded placement targets.

Before that, Lawrence held leadership positions at Career Education Corporation, where they worked in financial aid roles and was responsible for managing budgets, ensuring accuracy in student files, and implementing cost-saving initiatives. Lawrence also served as the Director of Operations and Director of Student Finance at the International Academy of Design & Technology - Online, leading teams, streamlining processes, and achieving financial targets.

Lawrence McGhee has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Colorado Technical University. Lawrence also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts and Communication from Judson University. In addition to their degrees, Lawrence has obtained certifications in Culture of Accountability from TCS Education System and in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute. Lawrence obtained their PMP certification in February 2020.
