S Thankappan (Tanky), PMP®, CSCP®, is an accomplished operations leader and data enthusiast with over 23 years of experience in managing diverse teams and complex operations. A Navy veteran and submariner, they served as Chief Technology Officer for both Conventional and Nuclear Submarines, where they led various national and international missions. Currently, Tanky is a Knowledge Partner at Tata Consultancy Services, focusing on product lifecycle management and data science. They have also held significant roles in strategic acquisitions within the Ministry of Defence, overseeing high-value contracts and international relationships. Tanky holds multiple degrees, including a Post Graduate Program in Data Science & Business Analytics from The University of Texas at Austin and a Marine Engineering specialization with First Class honors.
