Niels Vermeijden

Niels Vermeijden is an experienced professional currently serving as the Head of Business Development and Senior Vice President Trading at TCX since August 2015. Niels is also a Co-Founder of Vet & Lazy Brouwerij since August 2016 and has been a Lecturer at Koninklijk Actuarieel Genootschap since December 2011, where Niels developed and taught courses related to financial derivatives and development finance. Prior to these roles, Niels worked at Cardano from April 2008 to August 2015, focusing on Liability Driven Investment and providing strategic risk advice. Niels began a career in finance as an intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers from September 2006 to April 2008. Niels holds an MSc in Econometrics and Management Science: Quantitative Finance and a BSc in Econometrie & Besliskunde from Erasmus University Rotterdam, along with an Executive course in Negotiation and Decision Making from The London School of Economics and a recent degree in High Performance Leadership from IMD in February 2023.
