Dean Hayashi

Dean Hayashi is a highly experienced graphic designer and educator with a diverse background spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Senior Web, Social, and Broadcast Graphic Designer at TD since August 2021, Dean specializes in strategic and editorial content for MoneyTalk. In addition, Dean has been teaching lighting and rendering techniques using Autodesk Maya at Durham College since September 2016. Previous roles include senior positions at Global News, where Dean designed motion graphics and virtual sets for multiple national brands, earning awards such as the RTDNA award in 2016 and the BDA Gold award in 2015 for notable projects. Extensive freelance work across various companies, including Corus Entertainment and RBC, showcases Dean's proficiency in motion graphics and animation. Dean's educational background includes multiple post-graduate diplomas in animation, design, and sound engineering from institutions such as Humber College and Puppets The Animation School.
