Douglas Mearkle

Douglas Mearkle, ETA CPP, serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of US Payments Sales at TD since March 2015, where responsibilities include leading the US sales organization for various business payment solutions and managing a merchant portfolio that generates $180 million in fee income. Prior to this role, Mearkle held the position of Senior Vice President, Sales, Digital Channels & Sales Operations at PNC Merchant Services from April 2006 to March 2015, overseeing a large team focused on merchant services in the Mid Atlantic Region. Earlier in the career, Mearkle was the Director of Sales Training at First Data Corporation, where leadership involved overseeing a national sales training team and developing multiple training programs for major financial institutions. Mearkle holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Malone University and graduated from the Executive Banking Management School of the Consumers Bankers Association.
