Yarnel Bender

Yarnel Bender is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operational excellence and change management, currently serving as Associate Vice President, Operational Excellence at TD since July 2021. In this role, Yarnel leads an internal consulting team that collaborates with Senior Executives to address business challenges and design transformation roadmaps. Previous positions at TD include Associate Vice President for Enterprise Change Management Practice and Corporate Change Management & Communications, where Yarnel successfully expanded teams and established best practices across the organization. Prior to TD, Yarnel held roles at the National Research Council Canada, focusing on strategic initiatives and project management in the life sciences sector, and worked as a Performing Artist at Vintage Taps. Yarnel holds an MBA from the University of Saskatchewan and an Advanced Professional Certificate in Behavioural Insights from UBC Sauder Continuing Business Studies.
