Alain Camirand

Alain Camirand has extensive experience in the insurance industry, having worked at TD Insurance and AXA Assurances Inc. Alain started their career at AXA Assurances Inc. in 1992 as a Senior Legal Counsel, where they worked until 2006. Alain then joined TD Insurance as Manager Compliance and Senior Legal Counsel, before being promoted to Senior Manager Compliance in 2013. Most recently, they served as Associate Vice President Compliance at TD Insurance, where they led a compliance team and provided support on compliance and regulatory matters to the executive and business units.

Alain Camirand obtained a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Université de Montréal in the years 1988-1991. Alain then pursued further education and completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from HEC Montréal from 2000 to 2003. In 1991-1992, they also attended the Barreau du Québec, although the field of study or degree name for this period is not specified.
