Michael Chan currently serves as the Director of Engineering for the Data Platform and Analytics Division at TD Securities since June 2017. Previously, Michael founded Akitasoft, where the role of Head of Sales & Technology was held, achieving over 180% year-on-year revenue growth and facilitating a successful exit in 2016. Additionally, Michael contributed as an engineer during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics, where a 1st place finish was secured in the Venue Marketing Challenge presented to sponsors. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a Management Science Option from the University of Waterloo, earned between 2004 and 2009.
