Naveen Balakrishnan

Naveen Balakrishnan is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategy, business planning, and financial management. Currently serving as Vice President and Managing Director at TD Securities since April 2025, Naveen previously held various leadership roles at TD, including Vice President and Head of Global Third Party Management, and contributed to academic initiatives as an Adjunct Faculty member at Harvard University. With a strong background at TD Securities in FICC Strategic Initiatives and investment banking technology, and a notable tenure at BMO Capital Markets focused on strategy and operations, Naveen also has experience from Deloitte and regulatory roles with the MFDA. Educational qualifications include a CPA from CPA Canada, an MBA from Lazaridis School of Business & Economics, a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto Scarborough, along with designations from the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Institute of Corporate Directors.
