Rakesh Sharma has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Rakesh is currently working at TD Securities as the Vice President of Global Trade Finance. Rakesh started their career at Desjardins Financial Security as a Business Development Officer, assessing business and financial risk for small and medium-sized businesses. Rakesh also worked as a broker and trader at GCS Capital Markets Private Limited, executing trades on various stock exchanges. Rakesh's early career includes working as an Analyst in Operations at Goldman Sachs and a Finance Intern at ITC Limited, where they focused on studying payment processes, accounting standards, and risk mitigation.

Rakesh Sharma pursued a Bachelor of Business Management in Finance from Christ University, Bangalore from 2005 to 2008. Later, from 2012 to 2014, they furthered their education with a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance and Financial Management Services from the Schulich School of Business - York University.
