Sean MacKenzie

Sean MacKenzie, CFA has a strong work experience in the financial industry. Sean is currently the Managing Director and Head of Electronic Trading at TD Securities since September 2019. Prior to that, they worked at BMO Capital Markets as the Managing Director and Head of Electronic & Program Trading for a decade, from October 2009 to June 2019. Before joining BMO, they held the role of Managing Director and Global Head of Electronic Execution Services at RBC Capital Markets from April 2001 to September 2009. Additionally, they served as the Executive Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at CollectiveBid Systems in 2000 and as the Director of Business Development at OptiMark from 1998 to 2000. Prior to these roles, they worked as a Product Manager at Dow Jones Telerate from 1995 to 1998 and as an Institutional Sales at FinancialCAD from 1994 to 1995.

Sean MacKenzie, CFA holds an MBA degree in Finance and Marketing from The University of British Columbia, which they obtained from 1992 to 1994. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Russian and History from the University of Victoria. In addition, they have attained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute.
