Meka Newell Smith

Meka Newell Smith currently serves as a Microsoft Cloud Solutions Architect and previously held the position of Microsoft Cloud Sales Engineer at TD SYNNEX since January 2021. Prior to this, Meka worked at SYNNEX as a Design Sales Engineer IV from September 2017 to January 2021, and at Westcon Convergence as a Senior Engineer and Avaya Certified Instructor from February 2012 to September 2017. Meka’s experience also includes a role as a Senior Training Specialist at CSSA from May 1997 to January 2012, and as an Area Manager at Internet in a Mall, managing locations in Arkansas and Memphis, TN from October 1996 to February 1997. Meka began the career in retail management at Electronics Boutique from October 1994 to October 1996. Meka holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, awarded between 1989 and 1993.
