Igor Lopes has a diverse work experience starting in 2001 as a reporter for Rede Minas de Televisão / TV Cultura. Igor later worked as a reporter for Rede Bandeirantes de Telecomunicações from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, they became the Editor-in-chief for Olhar Digital. From 2012 to 2017, Igor was the Co-Founder and Editor-in-chief of Canaltech Brasil, where they played a key role in creating and developing the product and editorial line. Igor also coordinated a team of over 30 employees and produced content focused on SEO, digital marketing, and audience engagement. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as the Content Director at NZN, where they successfully improved the company's reputation and implemented new editorial strategies. Afterwards, they joined Submarino in 2018 as an Ambassador for Tech World, and also worked as a Columnist for BandNews TECH at Grupo Bandeirantes de Comunicação. In 2019, Igor became a Television Presenter for the same company. Lastly, in 2018, Igor co-founded Transformação Digital, where they serve as Co-Founder and Content Director, connecting people through knowledge and common interests and generating sales through events, technology, audience, and leads.

Igor Lopes has a bachelor's degree in Public Relations/Journalism from PUC Minas, which they completed from 1998 to 2002. In 2013, they attended the London School of Journalism and pursued a degree in Internet Journalism, completing it in 2014. From 2017 to 2019, they enrolled in a Pós-Graduação (incompleta) program in Marketing at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing.
