Albert Ong

Albert Ong is the current corporate officer and chief executive officer of the Magnetic Heads Business Company at TDK. Albert has also served as a global and Asia-Pacific board member of IDEMA from January 2008 to October 2015. Prior to their current position, Albert was the president, COO and board member of Magnecomp Precision Technology PCL from December 1998 to February 2008. Albert has also held various management postions in engineering, supplier quality, materials management and factory startups in multiple sites located in Singapore, Malaysia and California from March 1986 to November 1998.

Albert Ong pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Engr.) in electrical engineering at The University of Western Australia. After obtaining their degree, they went on to complete a postgraduate diploma in business administration at the Singapore Institute of Management.

Albert Ong reports to Shigenao Ishiguro, President & CEO. They are on a team with Ji Bin Geng - Corporate Officer, General Manager of Energy Devices Business Group of Energy Solutions Business Company, Joachim Thiele - Corporate Officer, Deputy General Manager of Electronic Components Sales & Marketing Group, and Hong Tian - Corporate Officer, General Manager of Micro-actuator Solutions Business Group.
