Simon Freedman

Simon Freedman is the Technology Lead at TDM Growth Partners. Simon has over 9 years of experience in product management and has worked with companies such as Plenti, Flatiron Health, and eBay Inc.

Simon got their start in product management at eBay Inc in 2012 where they were responsible for the platforms and tools powering eBay's global retail promotions business. In their time there, they led a team of 15 engineers to deliver a new “Deals” merchandising platform that resulted in inventory growth, reduced user reported issues, and decreased time needed to perform key business operations. Simon was also a people manager, mentoring junior product managers and interns.

In 2018, Simon left eBay Inc to join Flatiron Health as their Senior Product Manager. At Flatiron, they were responsible for the multi-year product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Simon also led an initiative to scale and improve critical workflows in Flatiron's market-leading web-based medical business tools.

Most recently, Simon has been working as the Head of Product at Plenti since February 2020.

Simon Freedman has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from UNSW and has completed a Machine Learning course from Stanford University via Coursera. Simon also has a Diploma of Financial Markets from the Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
