Richard Anderson has a diverse work experience spanning over 30 years. Richard started their career as a Trainee Chartered Accountant at Thomas May & Co in 1990, where they worked until 1994. From 1994 to 1995, they worked as an Accountant at Optus Communications, PWC, and Lend Lease Corporation. In 1995, they took a break and worked as a Traveller. Anderson then joined PwC as an Audit Manager from 1996 to 1998. Richard joined AMP in 1999 and held several roles, including Investment Accountant, Financial Controller - Unit Linked Life and Pensions, Finance Operations Manager, and Finance Project Manager. Richard moved to Capital One in 2003, where they worked as the Accounting Operations Senior Manager and later as the European Business Finance Senior Manager. In 2011, Anderson joined Capita Business Services as the Financial Controller. Finally, they worked at TDX Group, starting as a Senior Consultant from 2011 to 2014 and then serving as the Head of UK Advisory from December 2014 onwards.
Richard Anderson attended De Montfort University from 1987 to 1990, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Accounting and Law. After completing their undergraduate studies, they went on to study at ICAEW from 1990 to 1993, where they obtained their Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification.
