Corneliu Tobescu

Corneliu Tobescu currently serves as VP & CTO of TE Sensors at TE Connectivity since February 2022, overseeing a multi-site international R&D organization specializing in MEMS sensing components for various markets, including industrial, medical, and automotive sectors, with a focus on technology and ASIC development. Prior to this role, Tobescu was Sr Director Engineering at ams AG, leading the Image Sensor Solutions division, and served as Vice President Technology & Operations at Berlinger & Co. AG, managing the development and distribution of temperature monitoring solutions across diverse industries. Additional experience includes key leadership positions at Antaris Solutions B.V. and NXP Semiconductors, where Tobescu drove advancements in automotive sensors and LCD display technologies. Corneliu Tobescu holds a Master's degree in Electronics from ETH Zürich and an Executive MBA from Zürcher Fachhochschule.
